Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Phi Unit Research Partners Inc, a private corporation doing business as “Phi Unit” (“Phi Unit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our AI SMS assistant product, Ava. Ava is operated on behalf of mortgage broker clients (each, a “Broker”) who have engaged Phi Unit to manage their inbound mortgage-inquiry follow-up.
Information we collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you submit a mortgage inquiry on a Broker’s website lead form, Meta lead form, or other intake channel that Phi Unit operates on the Broker’s behalf. This typically includes:
- Your name and contact details (mobile phone number, email address)
- Information about your mortgage goals (purchase or refinance, timeline, budget, credit range, down payment)
- Your express consent to receive SMS messages
- The Broker through whose form or campaign you submitted the inquiry
How we use your information — including SMS
Phi Unit Research Partners Inc uses SMS to communicate with consumers who explicitly request information about mortgage products or services through a Broker’s lead form. We collect your mobile number and your express consent so we can send conversational follow-up messages, answer questions about your mortgage inquiry, collect basic pre-qualification details, and share scheduling links for a consultation with the Broker.
Each message identifies the Broker the consumer signed up with. Message frequency varies based on your interaction. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you can reply HELP for assistance.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number and SMS consent are used solely to operate the SMS-follow-up service for the Broker you signed up with.
How we share your information
We share information only as described below:
- With the Broker you signed up with, so they can follow up on your mortgage inquiry.
- With service providers that help us operate Ava (e.g., cloud hosting, SMS delivery infrastructure, analytics), under contractual obligations of confidentiality and data protection.
- To comply with law or respond to valid legal process.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any SMS message to opt out of further messages.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- Contact us using the details below to request access to or deletion of your information.
Data retention & security
We retain inquiry and SMS data for the period needed to provide the service to you and the Broker, to meet legal and recordkeeping requirements, and to handle disputes. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with the effective date shown above.
